Onward is working in mechanical engineering design analysis, testing & simulation, Bespoke Software Application Development, Support & Maintenance and Software Product Development.

Job Profile :

Qualification: BE/ME Mechanical Engineering

Experience: 6-15 years

Software Skills:
• Person would be responsible for developing earth moving/heavy machinery/automobile components/ system design in Pro/E including mounts, packaging, installation, etc. along with global design engineers.
• He/she needs to identify the right design scope & special product characteristics based on the requirements.
• Responsible for delivering multiple concepts in required timeframe.
• He/she must ensure compliance to all process requirements & quality systems.
• Engineer should demonstrate complete ownership for all the engineering activities assigned.
• Expected to work seamlessly with respective product groups to deliver projects on-time with the desired quality levels. Also need to collaborate with supplier for component development and conduct design reviews with them.
• Engineer should demonstrate curiosity in learning and sharing best design practices to the entire team.
• Nature of work would be 50% modeling & 50% design.
• Accountable for all design activities including drawing creation, quality, checking & releasing.
• Aware of 6 Sigma and associated tools (QFD, DFMEA etc.)
• Aware of entire NPI life cycle
